Austin Watts

Austin (Casteel High School '25) is a playwright, vocalist, costume designer, director, and actor who has been working in theatre and film around the Phoenix metropolitan area for over a decade. He is an ariZoni, NYA, and ASU Gammage High School Musical Theatre award nominee, as well as a Student Blogger for BroadwayWorld, the largest theatre website on the internet. Austin is also a passionate advocate for theatre education. Through emphasizing inclusivity, he celebrates every artist's background and experiences. With a background in both performance and technical aspects, Austin values every role in theatre, which he envisions as a space for exploration, growth, and empowerment.
