Austin Watts

I am a multi-hyphenate theatre artist who has been working in theatre and film around the Phoenix metropolitan area for over a decade. I am an ariZoni, NYA, and ASU Gammage High School Musical Theatre award nominee, as well as an inducted Honor Thespian through the International Thespian Society (honoring completion of over 600 hours of work in educational theatre). I am also a Student Blogger for BroadwayWorld, the largest theatre website on the internet. In addition to the aforementioned endeavors, I am the founder of the Valley Youth Musical Collective, a community service project bringing live entertainment to underserved communities and empowering young artists to give back. I am also a passionate advocate for theatre education. Through emphasizing inclusivity, I celebrate every artist's background and experiences. With a background in both performance and technical aspects, I value every role in theatre, which I envision as a space for exploration, growth, and empowerment.
